Overview
Contessa is a well-maintained and extensively upgraded Hatteras 53 that has been thoughtfully improved for comfortable liveaboard use in all seasons. The vessel benefits from continuous ownership care, documented service history, and multiple surveys and diver inspections supporting its condition.
The boat is equipped with a 4-zone Hurricane diesel heating system for winter comfort and 4-zone air conditioning with reverse-cycle for summer operation, making it an ideal year-round residence or cruiser. With it's 3 stateroom 3 head layout it is great for liveaboard and cruising.
The galley down design of this classic makes for a spacious salon. The galley has newer full size appliances: fridge, oven and stove with overhead microwave and a counter top dishwasher. The counters are granite and floors are hard woods through out except staterooms for comfort.
Twin Detroit Diesel 8V71TI engines and a 15kW Onan generator provide dependable mechanical performance, with all systems regularly exercised and maintained.
